Saporito Foods Canola Plus is a premium quality high-oleic canola oil specially designed for Total Sun is a premium quality mid-oleic sunflower oil specially designed for “trans-fat free” deep frying. This non-hydrogenated, premium quality oil delivers a very long frying life comparable to, and surpassing, the fry life of any hydrogenated deep-fry shortening on the market,without delivering the negative effects of unhealthy trans-fats. It is excellent for all frying applications, as it has a very high smoke point, excellent stability at higher temperatures, and exhibits less darkening than other oils. Canola Plus delivers great taste, texture, and a pleasing crispy flavor, without transferring food tastes and leaving unwanted aromas and greasy textures.

Canola Plus has no cholesterol, no trans fats, and is low in unhealthy saturated fats, containing the lowest level of saturated fatty acids of any other vegetable oil. Canola Plus is an excellent source of Vitamin E, and is also a source of the healthy omega-3 polyunsaturated fat, a fatty acid that helps reduce the risk of coronary heart disease and stroke.
 
Although Canola Plus is specially designed for “trans-fat free” deep frying, it remains in a liquid and pourable state, where it is SUPERB for pan frying, baking, seasonings, salad dressings, marinades and wok cooking.
